Sunday July 15th, 2012. Fishing Derby 8am-2pm Crab Dinner Noon-4pm One of the longest running Crab Festivals on Cape Breton Island. One can spend the day enjoying the water participating in the fishing derby. The local fishermen ensure all locals and visitors get to go out in a boat to do some fishing in hopes if winning the big prize. All children participating in the derby win a prize.
Follow that up with what is known as the best crab dinner on the Island. Enjoy our scenery, and local hospitality. Mark this on your calendar it is a must be there community celebration.
